The aim of this course is to introduce programming and electronics basics to students who will hit the ground running in developing two projects. This course is broken into two sections the first using Scratch, the second Arduino. Scratch programming utilizes a graphic interface which helps students generate working code without scripting. The outcome will also be graphical, introducing students to interactive, visual and/ or entertainment solutions via computer screens. Arduino is a similar coding language to scratch so the transition to scripting will be easier. The final Arduino project will involve interactive robotics.
